2014 Sportsmanship Awards

Rincon Valley Little League Board of Directors is proud to present our first annual Sportsmanship Award recipients and they are:

 

Majors -- Alex Ruppe (Majors Blue Jays)

Minors -- Andrew McKamey (Minor Blue Jays)

Farms -- Ben Carlisle (Farms Marlins)

Peanuts -- Luke Salnas (Peanut Giants)

Tee-Ball --  Brady Lekander (T-Ball Red Sox)

 

The Little League Good Sportsmanship awards are designed to honor our Little Leaguers who exhibit the values of Little League which are character, courage and loyalty. These players learn what it means to truly be part of a team and conduct themselves accordingly to the principles of fair play and good sportsmanship. 

 

Congratulations to all of our 1st annual Good Sportsman!

 

As part of this program, the Majors Division winner Alex Ruppe has been submitted to Little League International for their Annual Good Sport Award program.  If he is chosen then he and a guest will be invited to be guests of Little League International at the 2014 Little League Baseball® World Series and will be provided with round-trip transportation and hotel accommodations. He may also be recognized during the 2014 Little League Baseball World Series.  Good luck Alex!
